Holistic Health Nutrition

Nourishing Your Body, Mind, and Spirit

Hello, I am Nitu Pasricha, your family nutritionist.

I am an experienced Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultant with a Master of Science degree in Global Public Health Nutrition (Merit) from the University of Westminster, London. I am registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN), ensuring I stay current with the latest nutritional science and follow ethical and high professional standards. In 2018, I was honoured with the ‘Inspire Award’ by GP Care Group, Tower Hamlets for my compassionate approach and innovative ideas.

With extensive experience in community public health services, I am passionate about raising awareness on disease prevention while promoting long-term health and wellbeing. In my previous roles, I have worked within multidisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive health and wellbeing support to diverse communities-developing, facilitating, and evaluating health promotion workshops as part of the National Healthy Child programme, Healthy Weight Management Programme, and NHS National Diabetes Prevention Programme with a holistic approach to diabetes prevention and management.

My passion for nutrition stems from both professional and personal experiences. Working closely with families from diverse backgrounds has given me valuable insights into the wider determinants of health and wellbeing. These experiences, combined with my family history of metabolic health conditions, inspired me to explore the vital role of sustainable nutrition and lifestyle in intergenrational disease prevention – motivating me to pursue MSc in Global Public Health Nutrition.

I am committed to empowering individuals, families, and communities to prevent illness and enhance their overall wellbeing through sustainable nutrition and holistic lifestyle approaches. As a qualified motivational behaviour change expert-my aim is to empower you to establish and maintain healthier habits for long-term wellness in a compassionate, inclusive, non-judgmental space.

My Approach

At Holistic Health Nutrition, I take a whole-person approach—supporting not just one aspect of your life, but all the key pillars of health: nutrition, physical activity, sleep, emotional wellbeing, and healthy habits. My aim is to help you sustain a balanced lifestyle.

Through evidence-based knowledge, practical tools, and compassionate support, I empower you to make informed choices in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.

Client Feedback

“A great personalised menopause consultation, just a lovely place to talk with someone who I felt really understood how I was feeling, was empathetic and able to offer practical solutions that felt manageable and not overwhelming. Far better than my recent conversation with the NHS. The Menopause Resource Pack is very useful to have all key info at one place.”

(Kathrine K)

“I am extremely satisfied with the session and found the information shared (especially holistic approach to menopause care) and HRT was extremely useful. It inspired me to make nutritional changes with more focus on phytoestrogen-based foods and check my bone density. Overall, everything tied in well and was delivered in the way easier to understand.”

“This 13-session diabetes prevention programme I attended was led by Nitu and it was really a worthwhile experience. Her understanding of nutrition and lifestyle changes for diabetes prevention was exceptional and she was able to break down complex ideas into simple concepts. I learnt a lot of relevant topics including healthy eating and sleep patterns, portion sizes, habits and mindsets and the importance of movement including physical activity. Nitu provided useful information and gave useful ideas to apply the information to daily life. Her positive attitude and engaging personality kept everyone engaged and motivated to stay on track during the course. She is particularly great in imparting her knowledge of perimenopause and menopause. Nitu is certainly dedicated to this profession and truly cares about her clients."

"Nitu of Holistic Health Nutrition gave an excellent talk on nutrition for older adults. We elders of the community were delighted to have her give a presentation to our group on a number of occasions. So much information and so beautifully presented. Our members were so intrigued that they are looking forward to hearing from you again. Nitu, you have our pride, love, and support."

"Nitu's training presentation on Holistic Menopause Care was very engaging and well received. Participants found the information relevant and valuable, they could relate with the content and asked many questions so conversations with participants were insightful. Following the session, there was a strong consensus to invite Nitu back for a Mindful Eating workshop, as the theme aligns perfectly with her holistic approach to women's health and preventive interventions. Thank you, Nitu for delivering such a comprehensive and impactful Menopause training. The participants are already looking forward to the next session."

“I recently took my parents to see Nitu, and we were all really impressed with how knowledgeable and caring she is. She's an empath and a truly dedicated holistic health practitioner who genuinely wants the best for you. What we loved most was how easy it was to follow her suggestions-she made the lifestyle changes feel simple and doable, without any pressure or guilt. It was such a relief to feel supported and understood especially for my parents As a family, we're really grateful for her guidance and are already looking forward to our next session! Thank you so much".

“Today we explored the holistic practice of mindful eating, emphasising the profound connection between mind and body. Participants learnt to tune into their body’s natural cues by distinguishing between physical and emotional hunger, fostering a deeper awareness of how and why we eat. Nitu helped us delve into the gut-brain connection, highlighting how our digestive health influences mood, cravings, and overall wellbeing. The session also promoted sustainable eating habits- encouraging thoughtful food choices that nourish both ourselves and the planet. A key theme throughout was mind kindness: approaching food and our bodies with compassion rather than judgement. Through guided exercises and discussion, attendees were encouraged to replace guilt with curiosity, cultivating a more peaceful, balanced relationship with food. This was mind-blowing! Huge thanks to Nitu at holistic health nutrition for a very dynamic and informative workshop."

FAQs

The Association for Nutrition (AfN) is an independent regulator for Registered Nutritionists, working to protect and benefit the public. They maintain the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), a register of qualified nutrition professionals who meet high standards of evidence-based practice. This register is recognized by Public Health England and the NHS.

AfN Registered Nutritionists hold a regulated title, receive supervision, follow an evidence-based approach, commit to continuous professional development and follow a strict Code of Ethics. Registered Associate Nutritionists (ANutrs) are individuals with a minimum of honours-degree level knowledge and understanding of nutrition science. They are qualified and competent to provide evidence-based information.

For more information, visit Association for Nutrition or search the AfN register.

Registered Nutritionists provide evidence-based nutrition advice to individuals, groups, or populations, as well as animals and their carers. They work in sectors like charities, academia, industry, policy, healthcare, or as freelancers. Nutritionists can assist individuals with medical conditions as long as their advice doesn’t involve treating the condition unless collaborating with the healthcare provider. They can also support acutely ill patients within a multi-disciplinary team under the supervision of a regulated health professional, such as a doctor or dietitian.

Registered Dietitians require a qualification in Dietetics recognized by the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), available as an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The HCPC regulates dietitians, and the British Dietetic Association serves as their professional body and trade union.
